LINDA MCENHILL AWARD
The Linda McEnhill Award is given to people, teams or organisations who have made a positive difference to the experience of death, dying and bereavement of people with learning disabilities.

Have you, or anyone you know, made a positive difference to the end-of-life or bereavement support of people with learning disabilities? If so, why not consider putting them forward for recognition through the Linda McEnhill Award?
You can nominate any work, project, organisation, team or individual effort to support people with learning disabilities around death and dying.
Nomination categories
You can submit nominations under any of the following categories.
1. Providing outstanding end-of-life care support
An organisation, team, professional or carer(s) who have provided outstanding support for a person with learning disabilities who died or is currently at the end of life.
2. Innovation/ Service Development
The most innovative or promising project set up to improve end of life care or bereavement support for people with learning disabilities.
3. Unsung Hero
A staff member, professional, student, carer or other, who has championed the end of life and bereavement support needs of people with learning disabilities, and is inspiring others. This category cannot be a self nomination
Nominations close on 12th January 2024. Awards will be presented on Zoom in early 2024 – date to be confirmed.

Easy Read
Shortlisted nominations will be notified by email.
Winners will be announced on Zoom in early 2024.
Shortlisted nominees will be invited to send in a short Video about their work which will be shown at the online event in 2024.
Award winners will receive a special certificate and get the opportunity to share their story or achievement through the PCPLD Network, they will also receive a free place at the next PCPLD Conference.
